The Life and Death of Democracy by John Keane

I'm a little less than 200 pages from finishing this book I've been reading for the past 7 months. It has to be read and digested for a while, but overall I'm finding it amazing and informative. It's another one of those books I want to beg people to read, although at almost 900 pages of small print and so much food for thought, it is slow going. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the history of democracy.
