News for All the People: The Epic Story of Race and the American Media

By Juan Gonzalez and Joseph Torres

It's a new book, picked it up from the library. It's about "how the media exercise such enormous sway over public life." It mentions everything from government interference, corporate interference (what's the difference now days?) and it shows how the (horrible) media has poorly portrayed non-whites over the years

The book explains more than just that though, that's why I'm excited over it. I'm on page 2. Thought I'd mention it.
