Who else does this when reading a book?

I go to the end of the book and figure out how many pages are in it. Then I figure out the halfway point in the book. When I get to that page, I figure I'm coasting to the finish and I'm on my way to the next book in my pile. I know it's strange, but I was just wondering if anyone else does the same thing.

For me it's a function of having far too many books checked out of the public library, some of which are 14 day books which others want, and it helps me figure out if I'm on track to finish a book on time.

But, if it's getting late at night,
I often look ahead to see how many pages until the present chapter ends,
and then when I reach that point I go to bed.
