So, I'm reading _The Shadow of the Wind_ by Carlos Ruiz Zafón and it made me start thinking about books about books.

Since I've always really liked such meta-books, I thought it might be fun if we put together a list.

As starters, I'll also include:

1. I liked the shadow of the Wind

Very imaginative. You might enjoy The Archimedes Codex[/]. It's about a manuscript by Archimedes that got scrubbed, folded and turned into a prayer book by Byzantine monastic scribes. I think Nova devoted a program to it.
