I got Crocodile on the Sandbank by Elizabeth Peters; The Beautiful Mystery by Louise Penny; The Hot Pink Farmhouse by David Handler; and The Man Who Died Laughing by David Handler.
Maybe I'll just watch TV one night..wonder what Countdown to Apocalypse is all about on Hist2..sounds cheerful.

(10,044 posts)It's an old book, the first in the series. It seems that if you don't get in somewhere near the beginning, you miss why the character is who he is...

(10,044 posts)It's a sequel to The Cold Blue Blood - I read that about a month or so ago. Wasn't great, just passable...He's a film critic and I don't usually like films where movies and movie stars are discussed. May not even finish it, don't know yet.
