Thank you for bringing it over.

I wanted to redo it, but differently. Maybe have 3 different threads, dividing the alphabet into thirds to make it easier to handle.

But what I'd really like to see are separate Series Book Listings A-Z, but maybe have them sorted into two or more different threads:

Science Fiction (we have a big group here)
Romance - we have several of these too
Mysteries
Mainstream - life interests, sports, handicapped...etc.
Animals (?)
USA Authors
Foreign authors
Westerns

And - there would be some cross-posting for some authors..

I had some papers with names scribbled all over, but I can't read my writing.

Whatever way people would like it is the way to do it.

Wouldn't hurt to have a thread of the best stand-alones. But this close to Christmas, too time-consuming.

Maybe by this time next year weyou/others can redo the list. I use it a lot myself.

Thank you so much - ignore my suggestions. I think you'll do a magnificent job. I really appreciate your taking care of this.

I hope that everything is ok with the post the way I did it.

Just wanted to be sure we had a record of it here on DU3, it was that good!

Thank you again, for putting together such a wonderful resource.

It's gratifying to know that it was used by so many people. I checked on it often amd the number of people who looked at it rose to over 18,000 last time I looked.

But I was tired of seeing my name on almost every post, and begged others to add and was grateful for every post that wasn't mine. It was a group effort. DUgosh is responsible for most of it because I took the names of authors from her "weekly lists" so, really, the list was a group effort. I don't want anyone to think I read all those books.

I will continue to contribute, thanks again.

The clapping is for you old bean...

but it is you and the others who deserve the props!

I hope now that it has a new home that it lives to see another 18,000 views.

lose the ability to have people add to when/if DU2 becomes readable only.

I was so in awe (still am) when you went through all the work to compile and organize that information into a thread that was not only informative but interactive. It is one of the coolest threads I ever saw on DU.

I was delighted to see it brought over here. And I thank Boston Bean for that!

Note:
I personally like your original format just the way it is. That's jmho.
and
I agree, it would be nice to have a thread of A-Z stand-alones someday. (hint)
