does everyone know about fantastic fiction?

http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/c/lee-child/

i love this site and use it often. right hand corner put the authors name. you get the books written by the author. if in series it puts them grouped to the series and in order. i use this a lot to read the books in order. click on book and get a description. it tells when the new books are coming out for the author. and at the bottom each author has a list of names of other authors that write books they enjoy or are similar authors.

it is a good site if you are an avid reader.

easy to use.

but, ya gotta spell the authors name right. not close.... gotta be right on.

i kept asking library for info and finally gave one of the librarians the site. now all the libraries in town use this site.

I just chose an author at random (Ken Follett), and found out that he has written books under several other names. I have read almost every book he has written, but none of the books written under the other names. This will be fun!

I might spend a lot of time playing over there!!!

My library used to have posters with "If you like _____, you might like _____" and I found several new authors this way. I wish they still did this. Maybe this site will help, but I am always skeptical of endorsements by authors---I have a feeling it is all about money and not so much about the excellence of the author or book.

Bill Bryson of A Walk in the Woods is not listed!

Having fun. Another thing that I noticed while trying to find Carl Hiaasen (and I never can remember the exact spelling), you can find authors by the alphabetic search too. That is how I had to find him----and he had so many recommendations that I might not have to look for more books for years!

lmao.... see, i feel the same for the site. i use it often. and sometimes just browse authors.

you are funny

oh, and every once in a while an author will not be there. more with the kindle authors. that is always dissappointing. but i have not found it often with established authors.
