uploaded a couple of free books from an author to the Kindle app

Which put them on my PC.

Does anyone know how to get them onto my Kindle or into the Kindle Cloud?

I right clicked on them but none of the options indicate I can get the books into my cloud.

I had one hell of a time getting them on my PC as it was.

I believe you can get it from “my devices”. Then you can just e-mail the file to you kindle. Also, if purchased through Amazon there is a place you can have Amazon send direct to your Kindle. I believe it’s labeled “my content” or something similar.

If you email the files to your kindle email, Amazon will email you to verify it isn’t spam and you want it uploaded.

3. Go to Amazon homepage

At top is Returns and Orders. Click on it.

Now along the top is Digital orders. Click on it.

It should display a list of your digital content. Find your books and click on Manage Devices and Content.

From there you can sort your selected content to your Kindle device, your Kindle library, or the cloud.

The books do not show up on any of my lists, or any location other than the Kindle app on my PC.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

When I go into the kindle app on my desktop it offers to upload the software

it will show up in both places. If you got it onto the kindle app on your computer...it should show up.

I mostly read books borrowed thru Libby and my local library system. So it’s not necessary to have purchased from Amazon.
But, since Amazon owns Kindle, I have obtained help more than once from them. They are slightly above average in customer service.
