Related: About this forumHas anyone read Margaret Maron's Deborah Knott series?
Deborah's a judge and part-time sleuth in North Carolina.
I've been reading many British detective stories lately and I'm looking for other good series.
Does anyone recommend this series?
Thanks.

(10,170 posts)Mostly light, pleasant, romantic read.
I think I read the whole series. I read a lot, so if I read a full series that is a good sign.
It has enough twist to keep me interested.

(34,108 posts)My favorite was "Up Jumps The Devil." Read them in order, if possible. The settings of most of the books are within a few miles of where I grew up, so that was part of why I liked them, but she has wide appeal judging from the awards she's won for her novels.
