A lone astronaut must save the earth from disaster in this incredible new science-based thriller. An irresistible interstellar adventure.

Weir has another audio (only) book that I would love to hear: James Moriarty, Consulting Criminal. His razor-sharp intellect, uncanny powers of deduction, and knowledge of the criminal underground are legendary throughout London. He solves cases with the able assistance of his close friend and confidant. And, one day, he will become the arch enemy of Sherlock Holmes. Three original tales - collected for the first time.

You might find interesting Moriarty and Moriarty Returns by John Gardner. (The James Bond John Gardner, not the Grendel John Gardner.)

I haven't read them for years, but found them very entertaining. Or, that might be a function of finding them in the university library when I should have been studying during finals week...

I've always been a big Holmes fan and always enjoy finding new tales by different authors.

It took me a while to really understand what the heck was going on. The narrator had such a sense of humor and sarcasm and I was expecting something more serious. It is but was read really well and at first caused me to wonder.

I could really not stop listening. I am probably going to listen again pretty soon because I think I may have missed a few things here and there.

Do post what you thought after your listen.

Like you, I’ll do it again to catch things I’m sure I missed. I’ve listened to The Martian many times and I’m always entertained.

and even enjoyed the movie but reading it was just wonderful!

I am amazed at the knowledge that goes into his books. I cannot even begin to imagine what it takes to even ask the questions to write what he writes and it is still fun reading.
