I am fairly critical. I judge by layout, smell, lighting and cleanliness.

I had to google that name:
“An English author and one of the most widely read humorists of the 20th century”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P._G._Wodehouse

As I have a variety of interests, I like a bookstore to offer a good selection of magazines and newpapers in addition to books.

A few authors I’m likely to look for would be:

Taitetsu Unno
David McCullough
Ken Follett
John Sandford
Elmer Kelton

Are they polite and well mannered?
Are they wearing masks? Nose too?

I was looking for one author yesterday - Barack Obama. I gladly paid full retail to a small local business instead of Amazon.

made me laugh. I like the quiet nooks where I can settle down, get comfortable, and sample books I'm considering.
