Anyone read The President is Missing? By Bill Clinton and

James Patterson.

I’m about 150 pages into it. I won’t say it’s riveting, but I will say that it has some events that raise my awareness of what might be going on behind closed doors.

I thought it was great fun. The president gets to drive a getaway car and shoot at the bad guys! I didn't for a moment think any of it could really happen, but that didn't dim my enjoyment.

Some real good ones, too, that are worth reflecting on.

I read the book and enjoyed it, but I'm a tough critic and judged the novel, on the whole, to be just kinda pedestrian. That being said, the quotes were worth the price of admission.

There were too many cases of the authors misleading the reader to think something had happened, for example somebody had been killed, and then it turned out they weren’t. I don’t like it when an author(s) won’t play straight with me.
