On Indigenous Peoples Day, I found "Project 562: Changing the Way We See

Native America" by photographer and storyteller Matika Wilbur, of the Tulalip and Swinomish Natiions. The book contains photographs of members of each of the then 562 (now567) federally-recognized tribes here, with their stories and commentaries.

If you go to the website www.project562.com, you can see some of the amazing photographs, as well as a schedule of upcoming events.
