1. I've read that there are no atheists in foxholes. And that it's good for sailors in peril on

the sea to "pray to God but row toward shore". Faith is one of those things that costs
little but can be of great benefit. It can be a topic of calm and reasoned discussion,
at least among calm and reasoned people.

Helpful Hint: I always read the Latest Threads, DU Lounge and My Posts pages. If you
post anything in any single FORUM I'll see it so there's really no need to post the same thing in different FORUMS unless you enjoy doing that in which case carry on.

What gets posted in a GROUP stays in the group and doesn't automatically appear
elsewhere.

2. I didn't know that -- I've only been on for a week or so. That is very helpful.

Hopefully I did not upset anyone. Now that I know this, no more "double" postings in different forums or groups. Thanks again!

3. I hate to say that I was wrong. I mean I REALLY hate it. But what's posted in any FORUM

will automatically show up on the Latest Threads page. What gets posted in a GROUP
doesn't. So it's good you cross-posted your writing from the Poetry Group onto a Forum.
I apologize for my earlier misinformation. I'm still learning too.

Don't worry about people here being upset. Most of us were upset long ago.
