"My wife and I are retired in Pennsylvania and just finished a 10-day tour of New Mexico ...

This just proves it. Too many RW people equate being latino to being mexican or illegal.

I lived in New Mexico for a year with my then wife to be before moving back east for a job.
I fell in love with this part of the country. The minute I can get a job there, we move. We were living in Albuquerque. I would love to live in Santa Fe.
