"It's Always Men" ...98% of mass shootings are by men.

A get weeks ago I asked in a DU post, "Why is the single common factor of most mass shooters and other violent crimes always the male gender?". I finally sat down to read my copy of Time Mag and saw that the issue was addressed after the Las Vegas shooting. It also addressed the issue in reaction to men and race, political affiliation, culture, money, etc.

women. After watching lots of nature programs, I'm led to believe that's true of all mammals.

Edit to add a thought: Maybe the males of a species are more violent when they are larger than the females. The Black Widow female is larger than the male and notoriously murderous. I'm thinking back on all those episodes of Wild Kingdom, Nature, etc, etc.

2nd edit: I don't remember ANY women ever committing a mass shooting, so what 's up with the 2% female shooters. When did that ever happen?
