Any other recently-divorced women feeling "lonely" here?

Wanting to use a different word meaning "in need of male company," but am not sure that's allowed.

Maybe urgently lonely does the trick?

Any advice from women in similar circumstances appreciated!

you are urgently looking for love?

Why not try match.com or one of the other online dating sites?

Based on what I've seen so far, would never think of meeting a man from here. Just wanting advice from other women! Women's World Group, isn't it?

But I have never actually met a woman who was urgently looking for a man.

Not that there's anything wrong with your feelings. You're just unique, in my opinion, Lolita.

I will say, that I think you are a man. I think you are a man that is trolling women.

Go ahead and alert that. The jury results again, should be interesting.

She's saying she would like to have sex sometime in the near future.

It's pretty clear in the OP.

1. How long one was married.

2. What kind of damage was inflicted during marriage and divorce proceedings. Marry a psychopath, and you are unlikely to ever chance any kind of relationship, at all.

3. Whether there are minor children involved

4. In many cases, the divorcee hasn't got the time to be lonely, or do anything about it.

5. In some cases, the divorcee decides that remarriage is the fastest way to "normal life" for herself and kids. A case of hope trumping experience, or sometimes, dumb luck or a real "white knight" (the fact that I've never seen one does not preclude the possible existence thereof).

6. Sometimes, the woman already has a prospect lined up. "Planning ahead, planning on failure, or smart cookie?"

7. Some women aren't that picky. Could be why they are divorced...

I used to do a lot of writing for single women 35 and older . . .

You aren't alone. This group doesn't get a lot of traffic - but I bet you are not alone with this.

Sometimes the "fairy tale" gets really really f*cked up! The key is to not make bad decisions when you feel this way. I'm serious - this is the danger zone.

Have you tried a Meet Up group for single women? A friend and I started one for women 35-50 in 2008 and we were able to get out and about.
