8710 inkjet printers.

About $100 each.

Very straightforward. In my experience, compatibility with your computer will be the biggest challenge - printer and driver installed on it, that is.

HP really wants you to connect to the web so they can track your ink usage and automatically send you new cartridges, which happens if you use it wirelessly. Once you do, though, you can't share cartridges between machines (like when they send me too many), install refurbished ones, and the like.

We have one hooked up to wifi, one not.

It's kinda slow (ink jet), but quality is good, decent support, it will do double-sided, and I can print from any device - including Android phone - as well as my laptop.

Good luck!

AVOID 8610 ALL-IN-ONE PRINTER!

WARNING...DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER!!! It's been well documented on-line that HP purposely changes the firmware and/or sends an automatic update to your printer that will give you "INK CARTRIDGES APPEAR TO BE DAMAGED, REPLACE WITH NEW CARTRIDGE".

This happens approx. one year after use with third party/aftermarket cartridges. The less expensive cartridges will work fine for a short time & then BOOM, your printer won't print. From what I read...and there are plenty of 8610 owners out there that tried to buy/install the HP original cartridges at ridiculous prices, it STILL WON'T WORK! Again..."INK CARTRIDGES APPEAR TO BE DAMAGED".

I had no issues with this printer until after one year, and HP sticks it to there customers. Read up...Class action lawsuits, etc, etc...This whole saga blows my mind because you have thousands and thousands of people that will never buy an HP printer now as long as they live. Just google search 8610 problems and you'll see!
