I can't find anything on this when I Google, so decided to ask here.
My stimulus check totaled a mere $644.80 and I have no clue why. I am not on SSDI, just regular SS and Medicare. I file taxes and had to pay last year. This year I got a refund My wonderful tax preparer filed my taxes online on April 15. The stimulus check went into my checking account on April 30.
Does anyone have any idea why I didn't get the entire $1,200? Could it be Spanky's revenge for all the nasty things I regularly call him?
Thanks for any help.

(7,456 posts)It was $619.50. I did receive a tax refund. I do not receive SS (I am on a pension under CSRS). I do receive Medicare. Horrible that the moronic monsters name is on the check.

(9,605 posts)that they deducted what you owed last year? Have you tried contacting the IRS? Yeah, I know, that's almost impossible. Check with your tax preparer and see what they say, or if they can help. Good luck!

(13,182 posts)and $150,000 for a couple. After that you only get a part. But you should look it up with google because Im not sure about the phase-out part, since it doesnt affect me.
