Made a booze run to Pensacola today because it's a LOT cheaper than here in Alabama.
Before we left, wiped exterior car door handles with Clorox wipes.
Donned gloves before we exited car.
Bought 2 cases Scotch.
Had credit card in shirt pocket so I wouldn't have to get my wallet out and possibly contaminate it..
Clerk put cases in cart.
Back at car, sprayed cases on all sides with Lysol disinfectant.
Kick opened rear gate.
Put cases in car.
Peeled off gloves from TOP of wrist.
Dropped in container in trunk.
In car used Purell on hands.
Miz t. is 75 and in excellent health.
I'm 78 with 'mild'(?) COPD and (treated) hypertension.
I think we're OK.
Oh yeah, wiped down credit card with Clorox wipe.

(4,378 posts)Our State Stores are closing tomorrow here in PA. My husband stocked up on wine and Jim Beam...Jim Beam has become my best friend. Sounds like you handled that trip well today. May the Force be with you and your wife.

They have announced that they are not closing.
So far.
No private liquor stores in PA?
We have them but at a considerable markup for 'convenience'.
