I wish someone would invent a getter-upper. I mean, a small robot that would follow you around

(yeah, I know a dog will do that, but they can't do the rest of this) and when you kneel down, or sit down, etc., helps you get back up. It could put out two arms or handles and help you get back up.

Even as I type this, maybe the Japanese are working on it.

I make my list, do one or two things, then transfer the rest to the list for the next day. Hardly make a dent is the jobs that need to be done. Can't seen to get this act in gear and this has been going on for a while. Just give me a good book and all lists are forgotten. Until the next day, that is.
Don't like this part of my ripe old age.

And it should also be a picker-upper. When I drop something, it should pick it up and hand it to me. That wouldn't be as hard for it and me doing it and having to have help getting back up.
