No matter how comfortable your 'street' shoes are, your slippers feel better.

A bottle of Tums is a handy thing to have by your bed.

You no longer worry much about things you can't immediately remember.
It'll just pop into your head in a couple of hours when you're not thinking about it.

You don't pay much attention to the brouhaha of political campaigns any more.
Especially on cable news channels.
It's all just a show now, anyway.
Ratings.

You'd rather spend some time with your grandkids than go to a rock concert.
Or just about anywhere else.

I love all things politics - the Howard Dean experience was more fun than I've had in years!

IMO, the Dem establishment destroyed his run for the president the same way the rethugs are destroying Newt's right now.

Its what they (establishments) do when they are threatened - imply you are unstable, crazy, and the like although in the latter' case it may be true.

An outsider doesn't have a chance.
