Do Social Security and Medicare use different passwords?

Last year I had to have a new password, via Login.gov for Social Security.

But now when I tried to log in to Medicare it did not recognize it, had to come with a new one.

Now I wonder whether Social Security will recognize it. I log in only twice a year, to find the next year benefits and to get the SSA-1099SM.

It's possible that you had not done so on Medicare before but did on ssa.gov. It should work on both, thats the whole point of a login.gov account.

that means. I use the Gov.id login and all my information is there. Why would Medicare be separate? I don’t understand. I’m sorry I’m so dense!🥹
