A little 'senior' 'celebration,'

my daughter, now 39 years old, sent me pics from wedding day (me with her father, separated and now deceased.) 40 years tomorrow. Couple nice pcs, included my folks (whom I miss SO MUCH!)

DID get a few good things out of it, Honeymoon around Italy, family trip around France, Friends' wedding in Poland and more Europe, 2 great daughters resulting in 4 great GRANDs!

My 'bad' memories came late in the marriage, fair amount of trauma (a bit physical,) but largely good early.

My mother during that time was always asking if I was taking my birth control pills ! I never got pregnant and was able to move on unencumbered without any ties to him.
