Hi Guys. I'd like to serve as your Host on a longer term.

This discussion thread was locked by jannyk (a host of the Rural/Farm Life group).

I was the temp host for this group and now I'd like to be the regular host. Please let me know if you have any objections.

thanks,

Janny

Go for it! Every group needs a host, imho.

As long as you are reasonable and fair, I have no objection.

and, I think, fair. I honestly don't think there will be any controversial subjects here, it'll be maintenance mostly.

Been here since 2004, but only have about 4000 posts. Live just outside Florence, Oregon on a 3 acre 'ranchette' which we have just bought - it was a miniature horse property - we want to grow a big garden and keep a few critters. For now, it is just a house and land. I will be 60 next year. We are retired.

Hope this helps...

I'm east of the Cascades, but my mom lived in Florence for several years, so I'm familiar with the area. She's on my side of the mountains now; she struggled with too much rain and SAD.
