Definitely in poor taste.
I'm kind of surprised that someone came up with that. Not only would it have been too fresh when LBJ was in office, but Nixon wasn't all that much later.
It also seems weird to me to use a slogan about killing to protest a war.

It was worded a little differently: "Nixon, pull out like your father should have!"
