(34,355 posts)to see that show. I loved Paul Revere and the Raiders. My mother would come in and shake her head every day when they played and tell me that someone needed to get some medicine for Mark Lindsay's stomach ache. LOL.

(778 posts)And I will always love the bell bottoms and culottes and mini skirts and go-go boots and the bright colored purses, Etc. Not to mention the peace necklaces.
Dark Shadows was also one of my favorite shows and I now watch it at 5 a.m. on Saturday morning on the decades Channel.
But most of all the music is what I remember so fondly and I still listen to that type of music since it is my favorite. We have been fortunate in our lives and been to many concerts and we have seen Paul Revere and the Raiders several times. It seems to be common for The Originals to do less during their concerts and bring new Talent with them. The last time we saw Paul Revere and the Raiders, they highlighted the son of one of the Righteous Brothers and he was really good. They had a little skit about how much he always wanted to be a Raider.
I think we were fortunate enough to have grown up in the best ERA ever!
