(45,806 posts)He WOULD immediately raise ratings, for sure! I know Keith is an expensive guy, and I've thought all along that MSNBC was hiring a lot of freshmen to fill the slots. Yes, freshmen are cheap compared to the price of proven broadcasters, but there's a big risk. Those freshmen have to learn the ropes QUICK, and need to make a strong connection with their audience. IMO, the only one that made that connection was Rachel. The others are OK and I really don't dislike any of them, butif they're not on tomorrow I won't miss them.
I don't know who's really making the decisions at MSNBC now, but it LOOKS like they're looking to proven talent. I sure that includes Keith!
