South Loop shooting: 1 injured in shootout among concealed-carry holder, 5 gunmen in parking garage

At least one person was injured in a shootout in the South Loop early Monday morning after a person pulling into a garage was faced with gunmen, Chicago police said.

A male victim was pulling into a garage parking lot just before 3:40 a.m. in the 1100-block of South Delano Court when a black Jeep and white sedan followed him into the structure, CPD said.

A total of five male suspects exited the Jeep and sedan and pulled out guns, according to CPD.

The victim, a concealed-carry holder, also pulled out a gun, and a shootout ensued, police said.

However a certain online archive that tracks gun violence only counts it as a shooting. I have noticed a trend where they under count some categories.

as it is 1 victim, 1 event. A lot of these creeps are cowards (that's why a lot of them run in packs), and someone willing to defend themselves in an aggressive manner usually runs them off. Watch some of these cop and camera TV shows, effective resistance usually sends them packing. It's the ones that keep an aggressive attack up, that you will probably have to actually take out. They don't care, or are too wigged out to care.
