https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/crime/police-woman-fatally-shoots-man-in-road-rage-incident-on-interstate-5/Washington State Patrol spokeswoman Brooke Bova says the incident happened Thursday afternoon southbound on I-5 in Milton.
Bova told The News Tribune that the 23-year-old motorcyclist and man in a car stopped in the left lane of the freeway after a dispute on the road.
Witnesses told responding troopers that the incident became physical and ended when the woman shot the man while they were fighting on the ground. Bova says the woman called 911 and was detained at the scene by troopers.
I expect this will not be prosecuted, given statements made by witnesses on social media.

(33,982 posts)It was, by all accounts, a real fight.
I don't know what led up to it, but if it was 'grrr arg, you cut me off' or 'you can't lane split in WA!' type bullshit, then he had no right to put hands on her.
I watched the helicopter feed for King 5, the police interviewed a couple witnesses, and then took the cuffs off her.

(33,982 posts)I'm a big burly dude, but I am not going to throw down on the side of the damn freeway, like some guy has a right to go three rounds with me in the name of civil discourse.
I'm going to end that fight as fast as possible, because literally, your life is in danger in that situation. It doesn't get much more clearly in danger.

There's a lot of real a holes on that stretch through the Tacoma dome area too.

(2,050 posts)Less insurance costs, they tell you when somebody rages at you turn your emergency flashers on, it can give them pause.
And it tells everybody around you including law enforcement somethings going on, attracts attention well.
And yes your brake lights/ turn signals still come on when flashers are on.
