If you're saying trump hangs out with gun rights supporters of the republican party and the nra, then yep, it's obvious. The repub party supports gun rights and the 2nd amendment so it's a no brainer, however your post doesn't really fit the sop of this group and could have just as easily been posted in the GD, or even the gun control reform group. Please know I am not telling you where to post. That's just an observation I made.

You chose to post it here so I have to wonder if it was a jab at pro gun democrats in this rkba group. Kind of like saying " hey people in this group that support rkba, here's the company you keep." After all, your post was kind of vague with just a tweet link and a list of names, with no personal commentary from yourself. Thus me asking about the point of the post. No offense intended.

Gorsuch & Supreme Court Justices to Consider Gun Case That Could Expand 2nd Amendment

The U.S. Supreme Court, including the newly confirmed conservative Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch, will soon conference to discuss a gun-rights case from California that has the potential to expand the Second Amendment.

In Peruta v. California, the justices would decide whether the Second Amendment entitles law-abiding citizens to carry handguns outside of the home for self-defense, including concealed carry when open carry is prohibited by state law. Edward Peruta and other gun owners who were denied concealed-carry permits by the San Diego County sheriff appealed the case to the Supreme Court in January, The San Diego Tribune reported earlier this year. California has some of the strongest gun laws of all 50 states. Regarding concealed carry, every state and Washington, D.C., allows it in some form.

Peruta first filed a lawsuit in 2009 to challenge the county’s policy of requiring “good cause” to obtain a concealed carry permit, saying the policy violates the Second Amendment. The strongest concealed carry laws in the country require applicants to demonstrate good cause or a justifiable need as to why she or he needs a permit. In California, for example, good cause exists to issue a concealed carry weapons permit when there is a clear and present danger to the applicant or the applicant’s spouse, family or employees, according to the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence.

Well if this isn’t a slippery slope, I don’t know what is.

In what can only be described as an attack on our second amendment rights, the secret service has reportedly banned attendees from carrying fire arms into the convention hall where President Donald Trump intends to address the NRA later today.

Forget Obama’s effort to increase background checks (which were reasonably presented as a way to take ALL guns away) THIS is much worse, and I suspect that the true believers in the NRA will do the right thing and either boycott the speech or force their guns to be pried from their “cold, dead hands.”

During his campaign, President Trump and the National Rifle Association developed a predictably cozy relationship. So it should come as no surprise that a top priority for the new president would be to speak to the NRA at their spring convention today in Atlanta.

People who have carry permits usually are strong supporters of the Second Amendment and are often friends of other Second Amendment supporters. It should be no big surprise to anyone that Trump hangs with the guys you mentioned.

concealed weapons permit. It seems you have to be rich or well connected to obtain one, perhaps both.

Trump is not a little person in many different ways.
