Prime example of "projection" by a gun control fan

"Just having a gun around might make you snap at any time and shoot someone" At least it might if you don't like concealed carry. At least he didn't hit him with a can of beans.

"Concealed weapon disagreement leads to Kansas shooting"

"OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (AP) -

Authorities say a 59-year-old man who was upset that another man was carrying a concealed weapon disarmed the man and shot him in the leg in suburban Kansas City.

Overland Park police said in a news release that the shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police said the suspect also pointed the weapon at a second man before the shooting.

The suspect was taken to jail, and the victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of an injury that wasn't life threatening."

A little more from a story posted this PM. Still kind of fuzzy in terms of what happened beyond taking a CCW gun and shooting the owner.

"A 59-year-old man is charged with aggravated battery and aggravated assault, both felonies, after police say he befriended two men, but then pointed a gun at them and shot one.

Ricky Smith went before a judge Thursday afternoon.

At approximately 5:30 pm Wednesday, Oct. 12, Overland Park police responded on an armed disturbance in the area of 80th and Overland Park Drive. According to the police report, a man had befriended two adult males. The man was reportedly upset that one of the men was carrying a concealed weapon. The suspect allegedly disarmed the man and pointed it at him along with another man. The suspect then shot the first man in the leg.

The suspect was arrested and transported to the Adult Detention Center. The victim had non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment."

...ascertained that another man was carrying a concealed weapon, took the weapon away from him and shot him with it.

I'm having a little difficulty divining the moral of this story.

1. How did the man know that there was a concealed weapon? Bad concealment?
2. How did the armed man let himself be disarmed? Usually, that takes a little bit of work...

I think there's a helluva lot more to this story.
