Mexico has some of the strictest gun control laws in the world and yet, in 2012, Mexico had 11,309 gun murders (9.97 gun homicides per 100,000 people) compared to the United States that had 9,146 gun homicides (2.97 per 100,000 people).

Everyone on DU knows that they are all in daily mortal danger.
The only "feelings" that matter are those of the gun control fans. They feel threatened by both open and concealed carry, all at the same time. Those feelings are obviously valid based on ... all the open carry shootings? The unusually high criminal records of concealed carry permit holders? Never mind ... Gunz!!!
These foolish people need to be educated on the risks.
Someone get some gun control supporters off the couch and out to demean and lecture them on their stupidity. Be sure and use plenty of harsh and condescending words, including multiple penis mentions to prove your moral and mental superiority.
Then, when you're done, make sure you lecture them on how they should vote too. With 80 to 100 million households and several people per household, you have a busy 30 or 40 years ahead of you.
That always works well.
