Where all those guns have been going...

Neighbor speaks, man arrested after 7,000+ stolen guns found near Pageland

HESTERFIELD COUNTY, SC (WBTV) -
Deputies estimate that they've seized between 7,000 and 10,000 stolen guns from a house and warehouse near Pageland. Brent Nicholson was arrested in connection to the stolen goods.

Chesterfield County Sheriff Jay Brooks says the seized guns, ammunition, and hundreds of other items were all found on a single property off of Highway 9 outside of Pageland city limits.

Brooks says the guns and ammunition filled multiple tractor trailers.

Nicholson was arrested and charged with trafficking opium and heroin, earlier in the week in Union County. Deputies reportedly went to serve him with a subpoena Friday and noticed what appeared to be stolen goods in his front yard.

he is either a hoarder of guns and tools, or they stumbled on a source of the "iron pipeline".

It would be interesting to know what he was going to do with them besides hoard them in a warehouse. Usually a stolen gun is sold pretty quickly.

since accidents are in the hundreds, home invasions are in the thousands. Suicides would just go to plan B.
Of course, that is assuming that isn't just his warehouse or he is a wholesaler for the black market. I don't think you can flood the market with stolen guns unless you knock down the price and if you are selling a $600 gun for a C note at a flea market, I'm sure you will attract some badge toting attention.

There are some wealthy loud mouths who like to get big mounts and create stories of how he got them. Somewhere. Some time. Kinda vacuous.

As I said, off topic; his neighbor's name is really 'Rusty Fender'.

"He's always been a good cat, but you know, people do things," said Fender.
