I deleted my post about this so I'll add my comments here.

For some odd reason all the posts seem to stray off talking about whether or not the Oregon CC shooter was white and christian and if the media suppressed his picture, etc.

Anyway, back to the subject of the thread.

So these are measures I'm behind. Are any classic trojan horses or double speak for "stricter penalties" mean national registry so they can find out who needs the penalties? Training requiring a series of courses that would make a Navy Seal faint?

I don't know that you can call many of the pro control posters here activists, but many sure seem to have problems with guns in particular and they sure seem to call for much more extreme measures than the above 3.

This has that slimey look to it like when repubs say we want to make SS more secure and they mean by reducing benefits, raising the age to 77, and exempting rich folks from paying any SS tax as this will motivate poor slum kids to work harder to become rich.

I don't buy the "I support the IRA" profile he made on his dating profile. I believe he wrote it, just like I think he did the "love the Taliban" on My Space. I just don't believe he believed what he wrote.

...in this culture. It doesn't mean jack shit what he said, but I'm sure he was aware that millions would know who he was/is and would fight over his Innertube verbage like a pack of pi dogs long after he is gone. These bastards know they will have a measure of immortality and celebrity long after they are sent to state-certified disposers. The script is their and they don't need to be around to know the ending.
