Theres a way to stop mass shootings. And you won't like it.

That’s right. You’re not going to like it because it’s going to require you to do something personally, as opposed to shouting for the government, or anyone to “do something!”

You ready? Here it is:

“Notice those around you that seem isolated, and engage them.”

If every one of us did this we’d have a culture that was deeply committed to insuring no one was left lonely. And make no mistake, as I’ve written before loneliness is what causes these shooters to lash out. People with solid connections to other people don’t indiscriminately fire guns at strangers.

The author poses a refreshingly honest assessment why gun control is not the solution to mass shootings.

for this solution; besides, what activism there is for stopping "mass shootings" (the MSM/Banner's new social construct) will be for more indolent ban proposals.

Engage them? The author argues against his own suggestion; as if 'engaging them' is going to stop mass shootings & reduce the crime rate. Junk science.
And I personally adhere largely to the MYOB amendment. What am I to do?

...If you can’t tell by this point in the list, there is NOTHING the government or any other organization can do to prevent these events

Of course not all of them, but gun control laws like bg checks could help reduce the incidence or severity thereof, which gun guru gary kleck even acknowledged. A marginal improvement is the realistic result of gun control, never has been a cure all.

Too many people are eager and willing to blame the gun, but never offer help or assistance to the type of people who go on these rampages.
