Justice Thomas uses his dissent in Counterman to reiterate his hatred of New York Times v. Sullivan

The First Amendment Retweeted

It's good to see the Supreme Court reaffirm protections against politicians and celebrities weaponizing defamation law to silence critics.

People like Thomas and Ron DeSantis are increasingly isolated in their efforts to upend these fundamental First Amendment protections.

Justice Thomas uses his dissent in Counterman to reiterate his hatred of New York Times v. Sullivan, calling it a "flawed, policy-driven" decision "masquerading as constitutional law." No one joins him. https://supremecourt.gov/opinions/22pdf/22-138_43j7.pdf

There's nobody knows one better than old Clarence 'Unca Ruckus' Thomas. He hasn't made a decision wasn't one of those the whole time he's parked his worthless ass on a bench to masquerade as a judge.
