The vague wording of the bill has led to a culture war fight about what the text means, and that’s never good for the First Amendment.

1. Overturned or not, DeSantis has been successful at establishing his hard-right credentials.

He has shown his future voters that he despises the "gays" or any vaguely associated groups who do not subscribe to the only "right" way to live. He has pursued policies to limit and diffuse the power of black voters, he has supported the Trump wall, he has supported the 15 week abortion laws, and he has acted in an autocratic way that his future voters will love. DeSantis is the very worst kind of dirty politician clawing his way to the top, with no ethics or morals or sense of justice. The very things that will lead him to success are the same things that should disqualify him as a public servant. Republicans voters will love him.
