FBI Director calls 'stop and frisk' an important tool when used right
Federal Bureau of Investigation Director James Comey told a House of Representatives panel on Wednesday that the police tactic known as "stop and frisk" is an important tool when used right.
Comey told the panel that police who search citizens without stating the reason should explain after the encounter why they decided to do so.
The tactic has been struck down in some courts as a form of racial profiling, but Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has called for its return.

Unfortunately, the war on drugs has been used to gut that amendment and it no longer protects us from the excesses of police.

Are you kidding me? If white people were stopped and frisked regularly, there would be outrage over it! Just look at all the people who whine about TSA inspections before airline flights now.

Aw, bullshit on that. Let's make the work of the police easier.

It would lead to a lot of yelling and charges of political stunts. I think the case would have to be a clear violation of the law. That has not happened here. I didn't like the way he lied to the press after Clinton was exonerated on charges about her email, but it seemed better not to try to get rid of him over this.
Past Presidents put up with years of Hoover and his nonsense.
Unless Comey violates the law in a clear way, we are stuck with him.
