They brought it through the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal with only inches to spare on either side. Can still see it in the Philadelphia boat boneyard from I95

My friends sailed on it from NYC to U.K. Ken was going for a master's degree in Glascow.

Their memory of the trip was, nothing to do but eat, eat, hump, eat, eat, eat and hump some more. Four days of that. --- doesn't seem too bad.

If that was boring, imagine a trip on the Mayflower.
