Pvt. William Loop & father, Cpl. Roderick Loop, bid farewell to each other. Anzio, March 6, 1944.

Pvt. William Loop & his father, Cpl. Roderick Loop, bid farewell to each other as Cpl. Loop is transferred stateside from the fighting in Anzio. Both men served in the 191st Tank Battalion together and both survived the war. 🪖

Claiming they are patriots fighting for their country. They probably wouldn't last 5 minutes in a real battle.
