Favorite period in AH -- the Revolutionary War

Last edited Wed Mar 9, 2022, 10:02 AM - Edit history (1)

I grew up in the Boston area, so I got to see places like Faneuil Hall, the Old North Church and Concord Bridge when I was younger. That has made me continue to love reading about the Revolutionary War. I haven't been back there for many years, but I remember a colonial look to many places back then. Of course, I'm sure a lot has changed. But that was such a great moment in our history.

who was sent to Boston years ago for a business trip. He came a few days early and decided to play tourist. He was headed west toward Concord, when he suddenly saw a troop of Redcoats marching westward in a nearby field. Then he realized it was April 19!

I envy him that experience!

from Fort Ticonderoga. They were set on the hill overlooking at Boston Harbor, pointed in the direction of the King's ships.

The Brits pulled up anchor and left the harbor.
