Related: About this forumInteresting video on the restoration of the "Starship Enterprise" model, from the original series
This is 5 years old, so forgive me if this has been posted before, and also forgive me if this isn't the right group for this, but I figured this was just about the most appropriate place to put it.
This came up on my YouTube feed presumably because their logarithms skew my feed toward aviation and space, among the other obscure subjects I often search!
Anyway, this is about how the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center of the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum at Dulles Airport has conducted the restoration of this icon of 1960's U.S. Science Fiction Television.

(223 posts)Unfortunately the G7 was installed in the corner of the cafeteria. I took pictures but there are lots of people eating lunch, milling about, etc. I don't think many people there knew or had time (most were corralling children). Thanks for the video!
