(2 posts)Hello All.
I'm a new member.
I'd like to know which President Adams the poll represents? There were two President Adams: John Adams and John Quincy Adams, the 6th President. The difference between their political orientation is like night and day.

(222,294 posts)They even died on the same day. I'm not sure you'll get an answer from the member who posted this poll since it was from 2015.

(50,254 posts)John Quincy wasn't a great president(though I do respect his willingness to finance an expedition to the center of the Earth to find and defeat the Mole Men), but he had an exemplary post-presidential career, serving as a member of Congress 'til his death, representing the Amistad defendants in court, and speaking out heroically in his last years against the U.S. conquest of more than half of Mexico's territory.
I can picture Barack Obama doing something like that with the rest of his life.
Or perhaps Michelle will do it if he decided to just chill and sneak out for the occasional "half-smoked".
