Merlin is quite the savage little beast, today

He goes from being a total snuggle bug to pouncing on Gryff and attacking me. Once he's done with that, he attacks his own toe beans and tail. Now I can hear some sort of kitten commotion going on that has Gryff and Madoc racing through the house with Arthur observing from afar.

Hopefully he wears himself out so that I can get started on the laundry without him being under my feet.

I keep reflecting back on the tiny and helpless little kitten I brought in, his eyes newly opened, his ears just staring to unfurl, and who was barely able to move around. There was just sparse hair on his legs and feet. He was so small for his age that I knew the vet was worried about him surviving. And now he's growing by the hour and is beyond rambunctious. He will be going back to the vet, very soon, for a follow up progress check, see if he's big enough to vaccinate and to (hopefully) schedule his neutering.

That's all the proof I need that he sees me as his mom.

the runt of her litter, and as tiny as a 6 week old kitten. She tried suckling my neck so many times that I had several little kittie hickies from her.
