Be sure it's a kid-sized (or better, adjustable size) desk, even if he will outgrow it. eppur_se_muova Oct 2023 #8

Habitat for Humanity seems to get the best desk donations, in my experience.

Wondering, thinking of 'similar' to school desk, or other.

I'm storing my roll-top from first apartment I had in Chicago, and he may have seen it. He may of course be thinking of TABLE I'm also storing, wood and used it in DC kitchen.

Thanks to kids for giving us things to think about!

If it's the wrong size, he won't enjoy using it.

When we were little (preschool for me) out parents bought us a desk just for kids, with a chalkboard top and a strip to hold magnetic letters. The top was also a lid, of course. Good for playing even when you haven't learned to write (well). We outgrew it pretty quickly, but I first used it when I was too young to even remember using it. All in all, a good investment.
