A Meyers to be specific.
I have it on my list for my wife but I just hadnt gotten around to getting one.
Looks like the season is later winter - early summer. Did I wait too late?

(55,739 posts)potted citrus is fine to buy any time, planting in the ground is best in early spring

(55,739 posts)citrus does pretty well inside in the winter and when it blooms inside...heaven! watch drainage, no sitting in water but water regularly. they can also get spider mites and scale bugs. insecticidal soap and physically removing scale will take care of them. tends to resolve if taken outside once weather is good.

(386 posts)I have a lime that is about 25 years old that I move into our sunroom each winter in Oklahoma. One year it had ants and scale, I had a terrible time all summer trying to keep the scale and ants at bay, so I put a Terro ant trap in the pot to at least get rid of the ants. Voila!! No ants and no scale. The next spring I put the ant traps outside with the tree, and have continued to do so every year. Scale and ants have never come back. Also works on Meyer lemons and oranges.
