Anyone ever grow Belgian tomatoes I read they get huge. And I love tomatoes we garden then can , but I was given these seeds, I never tried to grow these types. Was reading on line but I feel it is better to ask as well thank you.

(113,130 posts)these can produce fruits weighing up to 2 1/2 pounds, and that's a big tomato. The flavor is really mild, meaning they've got a lot of sugars in them. These would be more suitable as burger tomatoes than canners, IMO, but they'll be fun to grow and amaze the neighbors.
I always grew varieties like Early Girl and cherry tomatoes back in New England for eating out of hand and in salads. For canning, I had a patch of Roma tomatoes, not very good eating fruits but great for spaghetti or pizza in February.
