help me identify a flower/weed

5. Indigo?

It is a prairie plant and grows wild at my house (outskirts, sunny, sandy soil). If we stopped mowing the lawn we'd have prairie back in a few years. I let them grow in selected spots along with the milkweed, bee balm and coneflowers.

I think, from photos, that it may be some kind of wort. Not sure yet.

It is invasive, taking over a couple of areas. Bees absolutely swarm it, so I leave it as long as possible before it starts falling over and stops blooming as much. It is a very pretty plant; the flowers are a beautiful blue and very much like a forget me not.

8. Sounds like Spiderwort

or Tradescantia. It is blue-purple and grows in clusters but doesn't have stickery stems usually, at least not the ones I've seen. There are many varieties though.
