Anyone know of the best high-quality watering tools?

I am so sick of buying nozzles that start dripping on the way home from the store. :&gt And sprinklers that stop turning or spraying the way they are supposed to.

I don't care how much it costs - I want to buy a good nozzle and sprinkler instead of making 3 trips a summer to Lowe's to buy their junk. Ah..that's probably the plan...you go in three times and buy other junk while you are there

These are foolproof industrial nozzles designed to last a lifetime.

Created in the 1940s for filling radiators at gas stations, the design has remained virtually unchanged since. Their unique on/off trigger is activated simply by flexing the rubber hose with one hand to generate and regulate water flow. Releasing the hose shuts the water off again with no dripping. With no moving parts to break, the nozzles are almost indestructible and won't leak, even when driven over by a car.

The jet nozzle, a powerful all-purpose sprayer for washing around the home and yard, reaches second-story windows with ease (total horizontal reach is 33' using a 3/4" diameter hose at 60 psi).

The fan spray model works best for watering large gardens, as it will easily reach a distance of 22' (using a 3/4" diameter hose at 60 psi), which is an advantage over most nozzles that either can't reach that far or need to be angled upwards to achieve any distance.

Made of rubber with brass fittings for standard hose connections, they are 8-7/8" long and available individually or as a pair.

3. As a woodworker I have several lee valley/veritas tools (planes and marking gauges).

They are of the highest quality.

I would hope this company wouldn't risk its reputation on a shoddy garden sprayer.

Seriously, junk sprinklers and nozzles are everywhere. I do have a Dramm turret sprinkler that has worked well for several years.

Actually, I still have the same nozzles from 40 years ago. All brass. I use the twist kind on one hose and the pistol kind on the other hose, and both work well, but the twist one is my favorite. Whenever it starts to leak, I just have to replace the washer. I looked online at Amazon and Sears, and they still do sell the metal nozzles for hoses. They are not very expensive.

I don't use a sprinkler, so I don't know about those.

And as to hoses, I need a couple of new ones and I am not convinced that the new ones will be anything as good as the ones I have, but one is actually rotting....I have cut the leaky area and replaced the fittings, but the hose started to leak again. It is just too old.

lazy for the lever stop and start. As for sprinkler - actually found one of those plastic rings that make a circular waterfall. It was 3.97 and I like it since it reminds me of being a kid and running through it

8. Ah, yes, running through the sprinkler!

I still am tempted whenever I see one on a hot day....maybe this year, I just might. But we always had one of those sprinklers that go back and forth. I always preferred a soaker hose, if I could ever find one that worked well. They never seen to lay well for me, and I even remember that in my young days.

Well for $4, if that one doesn't work for you, it is no great loss.....except that I rarely expect much out of things that cheap.
